How is this different from a group chat?
Group chats weren't designed for this. People miss your messages, replies come too late, and nobody can see at a glance who's actually free. Who's Free? replaces all of that with a single, clear feed of availability.
Who can see when my family is free?
Only the friends you approve. There are no public profiles. You also choose whether others can find you by email or phone number.
Do my kids need accounts?
No. You add your children to your family profile as names and you can choose whether to include them in your family profile picture. They don't need their own accounts and there's nothing for them to download.
Which devices does it work on?
Who's Free? is available on iPhone and Android. Download from the App Store or Google Play to get started.
What if a friend hasn't signed up yet?
You can invite them with one tap from inside the app. They'll get a link to a simple web page that walks them through claiming the invite and downloading the app.
Is it really free?
Yes. Who's Free? is free to download and use. There are no ads and we'll never sell your information. In the future, we may offer new, paid features for users that want them, but the core experience will always be free and ad-free.
